XSLT transform between Word XML and Infopath?

Hello,

I am a new infopath developer and will appreciate some help to get started.

I need to convert some Word docs to Infopath. Is it feasable to save the
Word docs as XML and then use an XSLT transform to create the necessary
Infopath schemas?
