Yahoo Hosting- bug.cgi stats script = broken image

F

Finntastic

The capture of users stats by Yahoo Business Hosting employs a CGI
script (http://127.0.0.1:1025/bug.cgi). This CGI is inserted by Yahoo
Hosting into any page for which statistics are captured. On each page
of my two seperate domains, a broken image picture appears (bottom
left) on acount of this Yahoo provided CGI.

Examples start at http://www.efour4ever.com/44thdivision

The only Yahoo provided work around is to disable the capture of stats,
which is unacceptable. Other than adding empty formatting tables to
push the broken image down further, any recomendations for a fix or
workaround are welcome. Thx.

I see no icons, broken or not. Have you tried to view this on another PC?
Sounds like it may be spyware or adware on your own PC.

http://127.0.0.1 refers to the PC the page is being viewed from - 99% of
cases any image will indeed be broken.
However, in the memorial.htm there are no links that resemble
http://127.0.0.1:1025/bug.cgi

The stats code refers to external JavaScript files at hostingprod.com, and
images at geo.yahoo.com and visit.webhosting.yahoo.com
