Ive heard people mention in previous threads that you need the latest
copy of Entourage but my mac is less than 1 month old and if i check
for updates is says no are available.

I've also seen people mention you have to upgrade your yahoo account
but loking into my account option it shows POP3 is there so I don't
think this is the case

Look under Entourage in the menu bar, it should be showing 11.3.6. Microsoft
does not update each application every time an update is released. See
³Confused over Microsoft Update Version numbers?³

I've also seen people mention you have to upgrade your yahoo account
but loking into my account option it shows POP3 is there so I don't
think this is the case.

It has to be a paid account. See this page for the info we have on setting
up Yahoo accounts.

An Entourage ATT Yahoo user provided these screen shots to show how he set
up his account under the new security settings.
