Yahoo Tool bar and PWA don't play nicely together

One of my users was unable to access the project analysis views. Even with
Admin authority. Turns out the problem is related to having the Yahoo tool
bar installed in Internet explorer.... Now for the really nasty part.... if
you uninstall the Yahoo stuff ... the problem doesn't go away!! Yahoo
modifies something or does an incomplete uninstall.
I had no problem accessing the OLAP stuff. I installed the Yahoo tool bar
and successfully reproduced the users problem. I then uninstalled the yahoo
stuff through the unistall software utility on the control panel and rebooted
my machine ... I still cannot access the cube like I could before. Now two of
us have the problem.
Anyone seen this one before?

Jim,

Did you every get the problem fixed with IE (Subject: IE crashes)? You
initially thought it was a toolbar problem as well - similar to this problem.
I appended my problem to that thread because I have the same problem. I have
been working for the past couple of days trying to figure out the problem, so
it would be great if you could let me know if and how you fxed the IE crash
problem. It has now reached the super urgent level on my side.

thx.

Paul

No. I haven't found a solution. Its pretty critical here to. I have a bunch
of angry users and the whole microsoft project intitiative is loosing
credibility. Too many problems too many failures. Projects failing to
publish, tasks vanishing, IE crashing, project crashing. I'm wondering how
much longer till the managers decide they've had enough and simply revolt.
We'll be back to using spreadsheets and guessing a lot.
Will certainly post if I find anything. The other probelm I posted is
different. The user can sign on to ANY computer with thier credentials and it
will fail. Someone else suing the same computer with different credentials
won't have a problem. So related to the users credentials somehow and not to
software loaded on a particular box.
