Hey People,
Environment: We are running an Exchange 2003 environment, with clients
using Outlook 2003 SP1. Both the Exchange server, and the client are
patched up to the latest service packs & security updates.
Problem: When users try to schedule a meeting with other staff members,
via clicking New Appointment -> Scheduling tab, the free busy data they see
is not up-to-date. Ie. free/busy data does not show all meetings for the
invited/scheduled user.
I have create shortcuts on each client using the /CleanFreeBusy switch
I have disabled Cached mode on each Outlook client
Tools->Options->Calendar Options->Free/Busy Options update of FreeBusy data
is set to 15 minutes
Interestingly, when i log into Outlook and try to look up the users FreeBusy
info, i can see all the data. However I am a Domain admin etc.
Can permissions have something to do with this?
It seems the OL2003 Cached mode creates quite afew problems.
