YIELDDISC vs. DISC

Can anyone tell me the difference between the YIELDDISC
and DISC functions? The help file for the DISC function
lists a formula that is used to calculate DISC, but if you
plug in the numbers yourself, the formula actually returns
the results of the YIELDDISC function.

Does anyone know the formula used for the DISC function?

Hi Tom!

I've used the data in Help (Excel 2000) for both the DISC and the YIELDDISC
functions and I get different answers. I do have a problem with the equation
given for DISC because that returns a negative.
