Hello,
I have the administrator permissions.
When I try to open MS Project Pro 2003 on the very server running Project
Server and SQL Server, I get a Web page with the error message:
"You are not allowed to display this page. You are not allowed to display
this directory or this page with the authentication data you supplied
because your Web browser sends an anthentication field header WWW that the
Web server can't accept."
NB : I added my server in the Trusted Sites in the IE Security.

Thanks for help,

Newbie

Hi Newbie,

It sounds like you have Anonymous Access enabled on Project Web Access.
What Authentication method are you using on your IIS web site for PWA?

Only Integrated Windows authentication should be enabled. All other
settings should be cleared.

Check it out and let us know

Cheers,

hi there,

something else it might be is your proxy server interfering - exclude
your project server url from your proxy settings...

oops - forgot to add: can you open up your PWA homepage _without_ being
prompted for a password by IE (with one of those pop-up boxes)?

If you are getting such a pop up when connecting to PWA, this might be
related to your problem. Project Pro uses a http connection to
initially authenticate the session to the server, and this http
connection must be completely seamless.
