You cannot close Microsoft Office Word because a dialog box

Environment: Windows XP/SP2. Office 2003. Attachmate 8
Issue: After upgrating to Office 2003/SP2, having problems closin
Outlook. "Word cannot save this file because it is already ope
elswhere". then, You cannot close Microsoft Office Word because
dialog box is open.
This also happen when closing down Attachmate 8
In addition to previous issues, also having problems saving t
normal.dot stored on a novell network drive. Telling me tha
normal.dot is read-only

Things I'v tried already: Uninstalling Office and Windows Installe
3.1. Reinstalling WI 3.1 and Office 2003/sp2

Note: about 50% of our workstations are being affected. It does no
affects all
