I have several datasheet subforms on my main form. In
form view, I get this error message the first time I
enter data of a new record:
You can't assign a value to this object.
*The object may be a control on a read-only form.
*The object may be on a form that is open in Design view.
*The value may be too large for this field.
This message has been somewhat random. I'll place the
subform on the main form and everything is working fine -
but after some formatting changes (which seem to be
random) I start to get the error. I can usually make a
copy of the subform on the same main form and the error
sometimes goes away (all of the settings still the same
as the original subform with the problem - both of the
them on the same page - one is fine, the other gives me
this error).
I've tried to find some consistency, but cannot.
Please help if you can. Thanks - David.
