I have just installed a new OEM version of MS Office 2003. I am on Windows
SP service pack 2. I did the automatic update on the ms office site and
got the following message:
You need the administrative version of this update due to previously
installed administrative updates.
I am the only owner of this software and my desktop and portable
computers are networked together. I haven't installed any previous updates
to this program. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling. I tried looking at
the knowledge base article which said that the solution was to go to the
resource kit which did not tell me in a way I could understand how to
proceed. I tried downloading the software manually, but it would not
install.
I do not know how to proceed. Help would be much appreciated.
