In Outlook 2007 on my 1280x800 display, one third of the date navigator is
taken up by help links that I do not require, and can not turn off (verified
by an MVP). I can not see very many months in the date navigator (only two
if I want to keep it one month wide). This is pointless as I don't require
the help topics listed and can find the help elsewhere anyway. It is
inconsistent as this doesn't happen in other parts of outlook; eg in Mail,
there are no help links here, only the folder list.
I would like to be able to turn off the help links and have more months on
display.
