your advice needed

Dear All,

I am planing now to upgrade to ON07.
However, I was wondering maybe I should wait for the next version if there
will not be any
service packs for ON07. Otherwise I dont really want to tackle with bugs of
ON07
as it happened to me for ON03.
The other thing is that I dont have that much money to spend on ON07 today
and ON08 few months later.
So I would like to ask, especially to MVPs, what would their advise be?
Will it be illogical to wait for the next version as it would happen far in
the future?
Or shall I wait still and reach the very happy end with the next version?
What would you say.

I would say upgrade to ON2007 now if you know that you're going to be making
use of what it offers.

ON2007 shipped barely 8 months ago so I'm guessing it'll be at least a year
or more before the next upgrade.

Plus the upgrade cost is relatively small compared to the rest of Office.

Would you be upgrading the stabdalone version of OneNote or buying the Home
and Student version of Office?

I have not dealt with any bugs in ON2007. Annoyances, yes, but no bugs.

I expect that there will be a service pack for OneNote 2007 (all of Office
2007 most likely).

Call it an educated guess.
