Hi on our network we use a PKI to authenticate to our PC's and to send
digitally signed and encrypted emails. We use ActiveClient as our middleware
and tumbleweed as our validation software. we have some users that can send /
read signed and or encrypted emails until the cache sessions of activeclient
expires. At this point in normal operation the user is prompted for thier PIN
number and then the email is sent. Users that have problems are no longer
getting prompted for thier PIN and instead receive the dreaded "Your digital
ID name cannot be found in the underlying security system" message. If they
open a web site that requires a CAC / PIN authentication or pull out the CAC
and Re-Insert and enter their PIN outlook works as normal. So outlook doesn't
seem to see that the PIN cache has expired and then errors. Any suggestions?
Thanks
