Your grammar is wrong; have someone review rules.

There are many areas where grammar checker provides incorrect corrections for
sentences. One area is fragments. Another is subject/verb agreement. The
grammar checker does not include the subjunctive tense (i.e. If I were a rich
man, all day long I'd biddybiddybum, if i were a wealthy man.). Like it or
not, students use grammar checker, and as a teacher, I do not want my
students to be misled. Please try to find a way to foolproof your grammar
checker.

It doesn't work well. With an understanding of its limitations it can be of
some use. I keep it turned off, though, because it has both false positives
and false negatives far too often. Tell your students that Microsoft's
grammar checker is wrong very often and that they should use it as a prompt
to think about something, not just follow it blindly.

Well, subjunctive is not a tense; it's a mood (which has present and past
tenses and active and passive voices). As for sentence fragments, they have
their place in literature and especially in dialogue.

If I were a teacher, I would tell my students to learn grammar for
themselves and not trust computer software to handle it for them. And
speaking as a copy editor, if I had a dollar for every mistake I've seen
English majors (and even English teachers) make, I'd be a wealthy woman. <g>
