I am seeking help in MA Office PowerPoint Help, though it could just as
easily be any other office tool. After I get an insufficient answer, I am
asked at the bottom if the info was helpful. In this case, it was not, so I
say "No" and am asked "How can we make this information more helpful?" So, I
start out responding, not noticing that there is a 650 character limit.
(Just how interested is MicroSoft in my feedback with this sort of limit?!?)
After a decent explanatoin of my problem that Help doesn't help me with (why
can't I compare two powerpoint files anymore without finding "the original"
-- which is long since deleted after many exchanges and much progress?), I
have typed about 1000 characters, and I look to "Submit" but that option is
turned off. It takes a while to find out that I am over the character limit
for the message (hey, llet me hit Submit and pop-up a message, or turn the
character count to Red, OR even just stop accepting my typing at 650
characters... these are all strategies that I find more useful, and even
though it can be annoying, just stopping the acceptance of input is the
earliest warning, and that is almost always the most appreciated!)
