Your latest updates have fouled up my computer. I need help . PW

Your latest Microsoft auto updates 7 of them have corrupted and cause lockups
in word and several othe programs. When I restore to the day befor the
updates were done my computer works fine tested 4 time and its definately
YOUR UPDATES causing the problem. I have very inportant and timely
legislation going on now and CANNOT accept this corruption of my computer.
Please call ad fix.

Hi,

The problem is actually third party software that doesn't conform to specs.
See if this helps:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/918165 ("Problems in Windows Explorer or the
Windows shell after you install security update MS06-015"). The update works
fine on computers that don't have the third-party software.

Note that this newsgroup is not staffed by Microsoft employees but by
volunteers, many of whom have had the same problem you are having.

I did this and it still doesn't work. I can't do a SaveAs in Word or
Excel. When I try to change where the document/spreadsheet is saved,
it just hangs.
