Your recomendation please

I am using an old slow laptop (512 meg RAM) and am a registered owner of
both Office 2003 & 2007. I am cutting back to save memory but do like
Outlook 2007 better than 2003. Will 2007 use more resources & slow down the
computer significantly more than 2003?

I assume you are referring to a post I made to the Office group. If you
look a little closer you will notice that they are NOT THE SAME QUESTION.
The question posted in the Office group was a general question regarding a
group of programs. The question here was a specific question regarding the
only program this group deals with. It was a question, I felt, that the
people in the other group were probably not qualified to answer. I always
try to use the correct group etiquette and believe I did so in this case
also. Please don't be so quick to condemn.

would be a significantly lesser drain on the system and run much faster than
2007? I would like to use Outlook 2007 if possible though.

Windows XP doesn't run all that well on 512 MB. With limited resources like
thta, Outlook 2007 will be slower (and, in my opinion, noticeably slower) than
Outlook 2003.

I am sorry but you missed the reference to Outlook specifically to the
message in this group, the message in the Office group does not mention
Outlook.
