Your timesheet has not been submitted for the period (NOT VALID)!

We are running Project server utilizing two machines with all current updates and SP=
2a.

As a resource manager I have found that there are many "unsubmitted timesheets" that=
do not seem valid.

For example I have one resource that has two messages on his home page where he has a mes=
sage for the period before he started with the company and therefore did not submit a t=
imesheet, and secondly for a time period he was on training where he submitted a times=
heet via an administrative project/task. This would indicate that the message is in=
valid.

It has been recommended to set the resources to proposed and to insure that the projec=
ts are regularly =E2=80=9Crescheduled=E2=80=9D, this works in most cases but does=
not seem to work when a resource leaves for a period of time.

I have utilized the Available From/To fields in the resource =E2=80=9Cinformation=
dialog=E2=80=9D and even set the =E2=80=9Cpersonal calendar=E2=80=9D to be =E2=80=
=9Cnonworking time=E2=80=9D but still PWA shows a missing time sheet!

I would be extremely grateful if anyone can shed some light on this topic

Thanks in advance - Bob
