YTD and MTD

I want to be able to display in my report the current month sales which I have. I want to display along with that what the sales were last year in the same month. Also a year to date total compared to a year to date at the same point last year.

(see response to your post about 'count of customers'). Unless we know what
data you have to start with, it could be tough to offer a way to query it.

Take a look at the date-related functions -- you can use Year() and Month()
functions to find the current values, and you can use DateSerial() to help
"calculate" last month/last year.
