YYYY-MM-DD from Access is converted into DD-MM-YYYY in MailMerge doc

Hi!
When MailMerging a document from Access table, and Access
colum DATE is yyyy-mm-dd, as well as the Regional Settings
on My Computer, the same field is format inverted when in a
MailMerge document, such as dd-mm-yyyy.

I'd like to keep the same format at destination as the
source one.

What am i missing?

Thanks for any help.

Cheers,

Which version of Word are we dealing with?

I suspect this is due to the connection method (2002 or 2003
with OLE DB would be my best guess). This means you'll either
need to
- change to a DDE connection
- add a formatting switch to the merge field
- use a query in Access, with the FORMAT function, to
pass a literal string to Word

You'll find more information in the Mail Merge FAQ section of
my website.
