Zero Resource contribution to a task

What is the best way to show this situation

We are training a new resource, let's call him Newbie. He will be riding shotgun on a task assigned to an experienced resource, let's call him Joe Pro
I want to assign Newbie to the same task as Joe Pro, however, Newbies's contribution to the task will be nil. This way, it will show him scheduled on that task, but he won't be affecting the duration

What I did was assigned them both to the same task. However, I can't keep Newbie from affecting the duration, even though, he is set to 0% Units. I suppose I could double the work, however, that isn't true either

Any ideas

Thanks

You're actually trying to blend two tasks into one.

Task1: Do Stuff
Resource: Joe Pro

Task2: Learn how to Do Stuff
Resource: Newbie

This way each resource can track his/her work on his/her respective tasks.
