Zip code appears twice in location view of public folder contacts

In location view within Outlook for a Public Folder which is a list of
contacts, for about half the entries (2500 in total) when viewing the
location view and making the ZIP/Postal code appear, the ZIP appears in the
ZIP/Postal Code column and also in the Country/Region column.

If I simply edit the contact and put in a new Country over the existing
Country in the Country/Region field in the business address (which is the
mailing address) the Country/Region updates to be that Country in the
loaction view.

Why would the Country/Region display as the ZIP? And how do I fix this please.
