I am using Outlook 2003 with Word 2003 to make a mail merge for envelopes.
All addresses are in the USA. I selected not to include the country field in
the address block. The "Unites States of America" appears instead of the zip
code in about half the merged addresses. When I check the address detail for
these addresses in Outlook they appear perfectly correct with the zipcode in
the zipcode field and the country in the country field. The appear to be
formatted exctly the same as addresses that are handled correctly.
The same thing happens whether I use the Address Block or select individual
fields to format the envelop. Obviously Outlook is storing the country into
the zipcode field in half the addresses.
What am I doing wrong?
