Winzip does have a command line interface, which you could use through
Access. You would not be albe to ZIP up the current database though, as it
would still be open
The command line portion is very useful -- much easier to use than the
clumsy windows interface. You need to buy a licensed copy of WinZip and
then you can (i think, free) get the command line add-on. Definitely
worthwhile.
