Zoom size doesn't equal print size

I usually have the screen zoom % at 100%. You would assume that what shows
on the screen would equal what would print. However, it appears that the
cell widths and heights are compressed somewhat on the screen and does not
show what actually prints. In other words, if you type information in a cell
that gets cut off on the screen, it will normally still print okay and show
everything.

Is there any way to set it so that what shows on the screen is what will
actually print without going through print preview?

Hi

You could consider to first make a picture of it: select the cells, hold
Shift pressed, and choose Edit > Copy picture.

Except I would like to know that any overflow will print as I prepare the
document without going through steps such as doing a picture or print
preview. In other words, why doesn't 100% zoom on screen equal what prints.
The cell widths and heights that print are not the same that show on screen
at 100% zoom. Why and how do I fix it?
