"All Notebooks List" has stopped working

Mr. Jim

Hello,

At the bottom left of OneNote 2007 is the Notebooks Pane. I can open a
notebook from the Open command or clicking on it in the ON folder on my hard
disk. Win XP SP2.

But I can no longer see or open "All Notebooks" from that ico and tab at the
bottom left of that Notebooks Pane. It only shows that Notebook and its
sections that I just opened manually from File>Open>Notebook. No other
notbooks show up to be selected. Until recently I was able to click on that
tab and all of my notebooks would be visible in the left hand pane.

How can I repair this?

Thank you for any help with this. I'm desperate. I love OneNote and use it
so much this is getting very troublesome.

Does nothing pop up when you click on the "All Notebooks" icon, or do you
just see a list of Notebooks pop up and no Sections or other data?

There should be several chevrons (symbols in the UI shaped like << or >> or
^^) which will expand or collapse to show/hide content. Do you see those?
What happens if you click on one?

You mention that you are doing a lot of opening of Notebooks from Explorer.
Once a Notebook is opened in OneNote you shouldn't need to keep opening it
up that way unless you are repeatedly closing the Notebooks too. Can you
confirm that you have a few Notebooks listed and that you haven't closed
them all?
