Hi
I have a problem with typing Arabic in Mac. The letters are typed separately. Also, I am unable to view any Arabic documents.

Please advise what needs to be done.

Thanks,

Hi I have a problem with typing Arabic in Mac. The letters are typed

Well Office for Mac doesn't support right-to-left alphabets. I fear it
simply won't work for you.
TextEdit does (but it's a really simplistic application) and Mellel does
as well so you might be better of using third party applications.

Please advise what needs to be done.

Use the Send Feedback button in the Help menu in any of the Office
applications to let MS know you care.
It helps them prioritize development,

Hi,

Arabic is not supported in the Mac version of Word. There are other word
processors out there that can handle right-to-left languages, such as Nisus
Writer Pro, Mellel, OpenOffice.org Writer, and NeoOffice. Pages also offers
limited support.

If you want Microsoft to make Word for Mac work with Arabic, too, send them
your feedback by clicking on Help>Send Feedback about Word.
