I followed ohotfix instructions to update MS Office on our clients, but somehow it didn't work. I downloaded and installed the ohotfix program. It consists of three files named (ohotfix.exe, ohotfixr.dll, and ohotfix.ini). Then I downloaded the MS Word Security Client Update and doubled click it. It extracted the file as WORDff.msp. I stored all four files in the same folder on the server. Everyone has change privileges When I run the short cut of ohotfix.exe from the client. I checked the task manager, and under the processes tab, it shown that ohotfix.exe and msiexec were running a little bit and went away. I checked and it did not apply the office patch. Any ideas? Thanks for your help.
