Viewing Quicktime Movie in Powerpoint 11.3.5

I am experiencing a new phenomenon when I insert a Quicktime movie
into Powerpoint. The movie can be viewed properly when I view it in
"slide sorter" format, but when I play the slideshow, the movie is
jerky. I have been inserting Quicktime movies into Powerpoint for
years and have never previously encountered this. When I go into
Powerpoint preferences -- general -- movie options -- optimization
and use either "smooth playback" or "quality", nothing changes or
improves. Any ideas?

Hi doogie,

What versions of everything are being used here? Mac OS version? PowerPoint
Version? QuickTime Version?

Has anything changed recently (installed Flip4Mac for instance)?

Have you done any troubleshooting (run DiskWarrior, Disc Utility, Repair
permissions)?
