Hm...I'm very surprised by that, because Office XP is still supported (at
least it hasn't reached the end of its lifecycle that I'm aware).

Where did your Office XP CDs come from? That is, are they "off the shelf"
retail copies that you purchased, or did they come pre-installed from a
computer manufacturer (who provided you the CDs, also)?
