There was a warning before you downloaded the beta about running it on a
non-production system and many of us have repeated that warning in this
newsgroup.

Too bad if I do have essential data that cannot be lost tho.
Anyone got any constructive comments to make?
Thanks

essential data that cannot be lost, simply roll back to a restore point
or restore your backup image.

After furious head scratching, Liz asked:
| I also have made several attempts to uninstall Office 2007 beta 2 (I
| don't like it).
| I get this message .....
| "Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2007 (Beta) uninstall did not
| complete successfully.
| Error 1402. Setup cannot open the registry key
| UNKNOWN\.mdb\PersistentHandler. Verify that you have sufficient
| permissions to access the registry or contact Microsoft Product
| Support Services (PSS) for assistance. For information about how to
| contact PSS, seeC:\DOCUME~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\PSS10R.CHM."
| ....... (by the way the file C:\DOCUME~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\PSS10R.CHM
| does not exist)
| Can anyone help, I am desperate to go back to Office 2003.
| Thanks
| Liz
