All this can be confusing and sometimes you just have to read and read again
until things sink in, but in this case I don't think MSFT has provided any
really good instructions on how to do HTTP uploading, especially since IE7
and Vista. And even before they never mentioned the need for FPSE in any of
their on line documentation or Help content. And now it has all become more
complex.
If you want I will try to write up some specific directions for mapping the
network drive, but I do not have Vista installed on any of my computers, so
I can't test it out. Before we even start that I would suggest that you work
with Spike and move away from FPSE to power your form. MSFT is in the
process of phasing out FPSE support and in the long run you will be happier
with PHP or one of the other methods Spike is suggesting. That way you can
switch to FTP uploading and FileZilla. Besides, from what I have read
GoDaddy is known to have some problems with FPSE support. Anyway, like I
said, I would try to work with Spike, but I am willing to try to work out
the map network instructions if you want.
