I also found Microsoft Office 2003 Setup.txt file in my temp folder with the
info below, which suggests to me that despite my use of LOCALCACHE=F, setup
is trying to cache to the CD-ROM. How can I stop this?

I also found Microsoft Office 2003 Setup.txt file in my temp folder with the
info below, which suggests to me that despite my use of LOCALCACHE=F, setup
is trying to cache to the CD-ROM. How can I stop this?

info below, which suggests to me that despite my use of LOCALCACHE=F, setup

I also found Microsoft Office 2003 Setup.txt file in my temp folder with the
info below, which suggests to me that despite my use of LOCALCACHE=F, setup
is trying to cache to the CD-ROM. How can I stop this?

Success! Issue was Installer continued trying to cache to E: (CD-Rom).

First found a workaround: Changed CD-Rom drive letter. Changed letter of
largest partition to E:. Office installed.

Changed drive letters back. Office apps still ran.

Checked to see if could install additional templates for Powerpoint: Got
screen that indicated E: had no space.

Instead of doing workaround again, searched registry for “cache.â€

Found registry entry which set LocalCacheDrive for Office to E. Changed it
to F. Was under:
MyComputer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\11.0\Delivery\{91110409-6000-11D3-8CFE-0150048383C9}

I have a similar problem too.
Last night, I had to reinstall my Windows completely.

After that, I tried to reinstall Office 2003, but it kept saying that it
couldn't locate file PR103374.CAB.

I checked my Office 2003 CD, file PR103374.CAB is definitely on the CD.
I don't know why it can't be found while I try to install Office 2003.

Can somebody help me please?

The problem your discribing could be due to the fact that you are running on
XP sp1. You should be on XP sp 2 which I believe resovles some of the errors
your getting like windows installer (its upgraded to Win Installer v3.0).Also
if I remember rightly Office Pro needs XP sp2 to install correctly anyway.
