Change Work field default to change hours, not duration?

Hello Julie,
Thank you for the clarification. I'm actually in the IT department and
our project manager has reported this issue and is claiming that the
calculation is not correct within Project. So I was doing some research
and this is when I stumbled upon this site. I found it very useful and
informative. It also seems that you and others like you are very
knowledgeable and reliable as far as being a Project expert source
through reading the posts and various threads concerning user of
Project.

I will pass on the information you provided to our project manager and
thank you for your feedback.
It's just great to have a forum like this one to get ideas and
clarifications on various applications, especially Project which is very
new to me.

Please invite your Project Manager to drop by and explain why s/he
feels the calculation is incorrect. We'll try to clarify any
misunderstandings as we can.
