Once a navigation bar has been ungrouped it becomes an independent entity.
It may be edited without disturbing anything else. If the navigation bar is
grouped, then any change to the font will be reflected on the navigation
bars all pages which is a good thing if you like consistency.
As a point of interest, I keep a test site publication on hand and have it
on a sub folder on my server just to try things like you asked. You may
consider that yourself. Build a three of four page simple site and publish
it for your own viewing and try different things. So no big deal if it
doesn’t function as you would like it to do, and you have lost nothing but
some time and your main site goes undisturbed. If your idea works, merge
your changes and ideas into your main site. Trial and error are great
teachers.

If I apply Headline (H1-6) text to a single nav bar button that has been
ungrouped (for the purpose of solving browser compatibility issues) will
it
cause any other problems?
Thanks
Kristi
