Document.Variables bad for docx file in Microsoft Live

Hi David,

Is there a link anywhere on how to use CustomXMLPart?

I wrote up a test (VBA) class for using CXP instead of
DocVars the other week, when I was first involved in a
discussion about this problem. Drop me an email and I'll be
happy to send you the cls and bas files.

I don't usually give out my "every day" email address in
the groups. But look at the website address in my signature
line. Remove the http://hompage. and move my name at the
end to the front with an @ between it and the name of the
ISP.

I read today that there is a hotfix:

the fix has been assigned KB970942.

I read today that there is a hotfix:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/972632

the fix has been assigned KB970942.

Oh happy day. To confirm, there is no Office service pack that
installs all of this, we just get the KB970942 hotfix and run that -
correct?

Glad it's working FWIW, I have no idea of the answer to this
specific question. In my experience, however, "successful" hotfixes
are eventually rolled up into a future SP.
