Actually can you post it on here - As I would quite like to go back to 2003
on new systems. MS forcing the upgrade path by not distributing 2003
licensces is really messing things up here.
Whilst I'm sure they got great feedback on the new layout from people who've
never used office (particularly the Mac crowd), for someone that's been
working on various versions every (working) day for nearly 15 years it's
cumbersome and difficult to manage.
I now have to support an increasing number of users on software that's
layout requires previously never seen levels of clairvoyance, and end up
wasting hours each week looking for the most basic of things.
Vista & XP Control Panel have a classic view, as do the task bars, so why
not Office 2007???
And the removal of the Edit - Links menu function REALLY annoys me. Going
from 1 place to find out why workbook won't update to 6! Cheers Office
Developers *claps very slowly* great improvement there!
