Error 1919 when reinstalling Office XP

Get the following message when reinstalling Office XP: Error 1919 - ODBC
data source: MS Access database, ODBC Error 6: component not found in the
regisrtry- verify that the MS Access database exists and that you can access
it.

I have contacted a tech support individual who sent me the ODCB files in an
attachment and asked me to follow procedures on that link and then INSTALL
these files, but when I try to, I receive an error message saying that I
have to create an association in my control panel. I am NOT computer literate
and having a horrible time figuring this out. I have an ecommerce site that
depends upon this e-mail account. Can ANYone e-mail me privately to help Me?
