I don't have that chipset, tried all the fixes to no avail, so your premise
doesn't remain. In any case, I wonder why you didn't mention the chipset
earlier, rather than just saying "more likely the fault lies within your
sys, or download is corrupted" which wasn't very helpful.

So are there any MS gurus out there, as I said before when I tried creating
sub dirs after extracting the setup.exe to a folder & moving various files
that where shown in the .xml file to the sub dirs, the install went further,
but obviously to get it moving on, there must be more sub dirs & more
associated files that need to be moved... now if someone could come up with
this answer, or some other that works, they deserve a medal & the rest won't
be getting any points for filling up the thread with 1 liners.
