Both of my PC's have exact same issue. One has Vista Home Premium 32 bit
and the other has Vista Ultimate 64 bit. Both were fresh installations of
Vista rather than upgrades. One install (32 bit) has FP2003 as the only
Office installed MS Office application. The 64 bit install had Office 2007
installed 1st, then FP2003.
Both installs of FP2003 crash when a link is created when editing a website
live.
I am suprised to see so many identical posts about this same subject.
Apparently people have issues using the search feature.
These seemed like a nice thread to post on to give you additional information.
For the record I posted this issue in a different thread titled "Vista
Compatibilty with Front Page 2003" on January 31st where Microsoft MVP Tom
Willet stated "Front Page 2003 is considered to be Vista Compatible." I
guess that could be revised with the addition of "unless you want to make a
link on a website."
So this issue has been known for over 6 months. Back then I was told it was
me who installed in the wrong order causing the problem. I guess not.
Thanks in advance for any help you can provide to make this issue a priority
to get fixed.
