Ignorant user. Bought a laptop and activated XP. Installed my Office
Professional 97, adding a few things to the "Typical" installation option.
Everything fine except one database "cant find project or library".
Uninstalled Office, reinstalled it with everything; msgbox said it couldn't
register htmlmarq.ocx. Access useless, vba problem; Word iffy, couldn't
find (DLL) Vba 332 (or maybe vice-versa). Uninstalled, reinstalled
"Typical". Database problem solved by unchecking some Kodak boxes. But if I
want to run almost everything in Office Pro 97 under XP, which is the box I
should leave unticked when installing to prevent those moaning msgboxes,
please?

With thanks in anticipation. David

This is a peer-to-peer newsgroup and we do not do personal replies. You want
a reply you come back here. So, let me get this straight - your reply-to
address is spam-trapped but you've just made your real address freely
available to spammers three times - not the sharpest, are we...?

I can't understand why you, Miss PT, can't provide an answer to the OPs
question while you anyway are getting so far to write at all? Why do you not
just ignore his plead for a reply to his e-mail address, if that is the
reason to why you can't provide the answer? Do you punish him now by not
giving the answer?.....if you know it, of course!

Sorry david but Office is not my thing otherwise I would gladly have given
you the answer.
