hijacked FP

But can you explain in detail what you mean by Hijacking?

Oh, I'm getting there.

Crash "hijacked" my aluminum foil bit though - probably with the help of his
buddies at the FBI, CIA and the cast of the X-Files. So now I need to
reformulate my bit.

You are going backward in time. FP 98 is almost 7 years old.
If you are having trouble with your IBM, installing 98 is not the answer.
Maybe its the computer itself that is NG.
