How do I insert a cgi script into Publisher page?

Spike,

I applied your instruction by the letter (I think), but it does not seem to
work. I tried it with preview or will I have to go live?

I copied your code into notepad and modified as appropriate and placed it in
the index folder together with the form page.

By double clicking on the Send button, I went into properties and choosen
"Use program of my host" . (The other option are "Save data with my host" and
"Forward data as email").

Further down at "Information of receiving date" I entered mailer.php.

Form method: "Retrieve" or " Stand-by". I took the latter. (I work with
Publisher 07 in another language, so the wording might not quite be right).

Any suggestion what I might have done not quite correct? One of the thoughts
I had was to create a sub folder in the index folder and put the mailer
..php and form page in that.
