The 800 number that I have for Microsoft is "fee based", 800-936-5700, you
can only get help for a charge and you can only pay using a credit card.
Maybe I'm missing something here but that is what it said when I called
it.
If you have different information, please let me know.
Someone who wrote to me right before your response suggested that I
upgrade.
Ya know what, that is all fine and good IF I had the money to do so. If
an
upgrade is free, someone please let me know. I'm sure it's not tho.
Thank
you for your help and patience JoAnn, you've been great. Hope to hear

suggested she call but she said something about needing a credit card to
call an 800 number. I don't know why she would think that but I did

she call.

Reading the answers it appears that you may not be able to replace the
key,
I'm not sure keys for Office 2000 are available any more?
Try this:
http://openoffice.org.
It's free and it's compatible to a great extent so give it a try and if
you
don't like it delete it. You'll be out nothing but some time.
