How do I put the desktop icon in the quick launch toolbar?

Sorry for the very poor and confusing reply yesterday. Send a short
cut for the desired program to the desktop. Right click the taskbar, under
toolbars check quick launch, then right click the the taskbar and unlock the
taskbar. Left-click the program icon on the desktop, drag the icon to the
quick launch area, release the mouse. The program icon should now be on the
desktop and on the quick launch bar.
