How unlink a whole column?

Had an intern in today, had to tell him to tab into a cell to delete it or else it will bring up my e mail program since I have a column with 1000 live links I don't want, and can't seem to remove.

Select the column with links. Type CMD-k. Click "Remove Link"

JE, did you read the thread or see screenshot, command K does not bring up a box that has remove link. That's why I'm posting

The immediately preceding post didn't specify XL04 or XL08. That's why I
posted suggestions for BOTH versions.

The dialog with the Remove Link button ONLY exists in XL08. And the
button ONLY appears if the selection contains a live link.

Go back and look at the other suggestion if you're trying to do this in
XL04.
