Installation ended prematurely

Yeah, unfortunately that is not the case either. I can use the exact same
installation point, which is just a copy of the cd onto the server, to
install office on all clients running windows 2000. But when I attempt to
install it on the dc, I get this error.

I do appreciate the suggestions and your responses Raghu, but they are the
same articles I have found during my own searches. Is it possible that there
is an entry in the registry that is causing this issue?

Side note: I have tried running office xp installation but I get the same
error.
