Installing Office 2000 upgrade

Hm...perhaps no longer trading because there were using the wrong CDs?
<grin>

Unfortunately, the upgrade CDs won't work unless they are upgrading. You
don't mention what version of Office you're using. I recommend finding out
what are approved updatable software and see if you can find a reliable
source on eBay or somewhere for the old software at a reasonably low price.

For example:

OFF2000: Products That Qualify for the Microsoft Office Upgrade:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;210437

This applies to Office 2000. You'll want to search the Microsoft Knowledge
Base to find your specific version of Office and what qualifies for an
upgrade.
