LOOKING FOR A .MSP FILE FOR OFFICE 03 STD.

Hi Josh,

..MSP files are MS update/patches. They are generally not
part of the Office product CDs. If you have accidentally or
with the 'help' of a cleanup utility remove MSP files in
the Windows cache area, for example you may need to use the
Installer cleanup utility then reinstall Office from the
CDs and then repatch.

I see in the other thread you started that you did find something
helpful in my reply there. If you ever bother to learn something
about proper netiquette and plain old good manners, you'll see
that you are the one with a bad attitude. Not to worry, I've
added you to my plonk list, so your posts shall never stink up my
screen again.

I am making progress.

I can now begin the setup and installation. However once the installation
begins about 30 seconds in it says there was an error installing.

So with the help of you and a couple of others I am making ground. But can
not fully install the std edtion.

So I beleive there is still stuff in there from the trial version and/or
updates after trial version was installed.

When I run the Office cleaner it tells me these files still exist....
So I complete the cleaner and run it again and they are still there, I have
tried manual deletion and the computer will not let me delete.

Microsoft Office Removal Wizard -- List of files to be removed:

"Microsoft Office 2002 AND VS.NET"
C:\program files\common files\microsoft shared\Speech\1033\SPCPLUI.DLL
C:\program files\Common Files\SpeechEngines\Microsoft\SPCOMMON.DLL

I have attempted installation 5-7 times and it stops at the same point. I
have sent error reports to microsoft when prompted but do desire a quicker
solution.

Thanx again for all of your help thus far, please if you have more thoughts
or info contact me or reply thanx again.
