MobileMe Sync Killed Entourage

The following was received from MobileMe support team:

"Hi, this is Evelyn from the MobileMe Support Specialist Team. Your request was escalated to our team to evaluate your issue and achieve a resolution as soon as possible. I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

I understand you are having issues with your Entourage 2004 when attempting to sync to MobileMe.

I'm sorry, MobileMe syncing is only available for Entourage 2008. Any previous versions of Entourage will only sync "Notes" to MobileMe. To avoid any more issues with your Microsoft Office 2004 software, I would not recommend you try and sync any items at this time."

Finger Pointing I guess, it's not them it is Microsoft..

Any way the resolution came from a complete un-install and re-install of Office 2004 plus replacing complete "Microsoft User Data" folder in my Users folder.

Needless to say I will not be using MobileMe again, at least not with Office 2004.

Thanks for this info. I wasn't aware that 04 was not compatible with
MobileMe.
